I would personally feel better about your situation if you were to keep the two you have for now, perhaps acquire a third that you feel better suits your needs, and spend a good amount of time playing all three before getting rid of the one you like the least. This is assuming you play in bands and have live performances.
Are your current basses are not meeting your needs in some area? Would hate to see you get rid of two basses that seemed to act well as "main instrument" and "backup instrument" (depending on the situation) to risk everything on one unknown bass.
